Dell in its review strategy tends to lean towards sending its users with more expensive configurations of its built-to-order desktops. Now dell comes up with Dell Studio One 19 with base price of about $699 in the market. The chassis of the Studio One 19 itself deserves some kind of reviewing. Dell’s philosophy behind this is that it offers streamlined, stripped down version of its larger, costlier XPS One. The newer version comes with a nicely curved back panel and a fabric wrapper which offers a background for the 18.5inch wide LCD screen leaving behind the sharp, dramatic angles and touch capacitive external lighting of the older versions. One has four colors to choose from including dark red, pink, dark blue and charcoal. Same as the other all-in-ones, studio one 19 also allows to adjust only tilt of the screen. As per the Dell sources, this is been designed like this to adjust the screen to a touch friendly angle while standing in front of it. The screen’s range of motion is pretty impressive. Though there are slight issues with Studio One 19’s touch interface but on adding another $100 one could get a touch input which brings us to a whole new way to utilize your computer. Many people will definitely appreciate the ability to use a PC for home entertainment or other high traffic region. The Dell’s 18.5 inch LCD wide screen is crisp and clear but it appears smaller because of the chassis framing around it.
