Bluetooth: A connecting device
Bluetooth is a common connecting device. When anybody use computers, entertainment systems or the telephones, the various pieces and parts of the systems make a community of electronic devices. These devices are used to establish communication with individual or group and are able to communicate with each other using varieties types of wires, cables, radio signals and infrared light beams, and there are also an even greater variety of connectors, plugs and protocols. Thus this art of connecting things is becoming more and more complex with the every passing of days and Bluetooth is one such connecting device. A Bluetooth connection is actually wireless and automatic, and it possess a number of interesting features that in fact simplify our daily lives.
Bluetooth is actually an open wireless protocol for exchanging data over short distances utilizing short radio waves from fixed and mobile devices, by creating personal area networks. It has the capability to connect several devices, overcoming the problems of synchronization. Bluetooth is a standard and a communications protocol basically designed for low power consumption, with a short range of power. Bluetooth makes the electronic devices to communicate with each other when they are with in the range. As the devices use a radio or broadcast communications system, it is not necessary to be in line of sight of each other. Bluetooth uses a radio technology which is known as frequency-hopping spread spectrum, these chops up the data that is being sent and transmits in chunks on up to 79 frequencies.
